Housed in an historical 1893 building, and operated by the Luzerne County Historical Society, the County Museum exhibits a permanent collection of Native American and anthracite mining artifacts. It also hosts rotating exhibits with emphasis on important influences in the lives of the people in the area. A gift shop is found on-site and is open durning the Museum's visiting hours.
